Il compose des surfaces o\u00f9 le trait, affranchi de sa fonction descriptive, acquiert une autonomie presque organique<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9e \u00e0 Tanger en 1978, Najoua a d\u2019abord parcouru le monde avant de faire de la cr\u00e9ation artistique sa terre d\u2019ancrage. Son exposition Amazonia, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019Eden Art Gallery, t\u00e9moigne d\u2019un basculement. \u00c0 la faveur d\u2019un s\u00e9jour en Amazonie, l\u2019artiste cr\u00e9e des oeuvres comme une \u00e9criture dans un carnet de voyage : elle capte, absorbe, transforme. La toile devient un champ magn\u00e9tique, travers\u00e9 par des forces contraires, telluriques et intuitives.<\/p>\n<p>Chez Najoua, la peinture n\u2019est jamais un simple m\u00e9dium. Elle est mati\u00e8re \u00e0 penser, mati\u00e8re \u00e0 \u00e9prouver. Loin de tout didactisme, son travail \u00e9voque les exp\u00e9rimentations de l\u2019art informel et du tachisme, tout en s\u2019inscrivant dans une continuit\u00e9 sensible avec une tradition du geste, \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00e9criture.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_inner vc_row-fluid vc_column-gap-35\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>Une tension f\u00e9conde s\u2019y joue, entre les arch\u00e9types et l\u2019exp\u00e9rience contemporaine, entre la m\u00e9moire des formes et leur dissolution. Refusant les dualismes classiques \u2013figuration\/abstraction, int\u00e9rieur\/ext\u00e9rieur, ma\u00eetrise\/abandon \u2013 Najoua op\u00e8re dans un entre-deux fertile : celui de la porosit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Chaque oeuvre na\u00eet d\u2019un processus patient et engag\u00e9. Des couches successives se superposent, oscillant entre opacit\u00e9 dense et \u00e9clats translucides. L\u2019oeil du spectateur n\u2019est jamais au repos : les formes apparaissent, disparaissent, se recomposent. Rien n\u2019est fig\u00e9, tout respire. Cette instabilit\u00e9 formelle est un choix \u2013 presque une \u00e9thique \u2013 qui fait de chaque composition un palimpseste vivant. Des couleurs qui semblent avoir travers\u00e9 la for\u00eat, les fleuves et les cendres. Comme si la toile avait absorb\u00e9 les \u00e9l\u00e9ments. \u00c0 la mani\u00e8re des avant-gardes du XXe si\u00e8cle qui cherchaient \u00e0 lib\u00e9rer le trait de sa servitude figurative, Najoua interroge la possibilit\u00e9 m\u00eame de l\u2019image stable<\/p>\n<p>Mais il serait erron\u00e9 de chercher chez elle une affiliation th\u00e9orique ou une \u00e9cole. Najoua ne revendique aucune appartenance : elle agit. Sa peinture est une entreprise d\u2019\u00e9mancipation, un geste d\u2019auto-d\u00e9finition. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 tant d\u2019oeuvres cherchent \u00e0 s\u00e9duire ou \u00e0 s\u2019expliquer, les siennes r\u00e9sistent.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div data-stellar-offset-parent=\"true\"  class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid content-padding-lg vc_custom_1504536626860 vc_column-gap-35 vc_row-o-content-middle vc_row-flex\"><div  class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-4 vc_col-lg-3\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\" style=\"\" ><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>Elles demandent \u00e0 \u00eatre habit\u00e9es, scrut\u00e9es, questionn\u00e9es. Elles exigent une pr\u00e9sence. Mahmoud Darwich \u00e9crivait : \u00ab Je trace la terre avec les mots de mes pas. \u00bb De m\u00eame,<\/p>\n<p>Najoua peint non pour montrer, mais pour marcher, pour inscrire un passage. Et dans ce cheminement, dans cette \u00e9criture silencieuse du geste, se joue peut-\u00eatre l\u2019essence m\u00eame de son travail: une invitation \u00e0 penser l\u2019image peinte non pas comme un miroir du monde, mais comme une travers\u00e9e sensible du r\u00e9el.
